Servings - Makes about 14 to 16 kebabs
Core ingredients and flavorings -
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tbs ginger, minced
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste (about 1 tsp)
Secondary ingredients and flavorings -
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Other ingredients -
1 lb ground beef
Minimal amount of Oil spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all the ingredients, except the oil, in a large bowl and mix until well blended.
Loosely cover and put in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
Arrange the meat into about 14 to 16 elongated cylinder like shapes and put into skewers.
Place the skewers in a foil covered flat oven safe pan.
Serve warm with onions and/or chutney.
