Core spices and flavorings-
2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbs chopped cilantro (optional)
2 tbs oil
1/2 lb breast chicken cut in cubes
4-5 green shallots
3 tbs fat free sour cream
1/3 cup fresh chopped mint leaves
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup warm water
Heat oil, add the chopped shallots and garlic paste and fry for 30 seconds.
Throw in the chicken cubes and stir into the mix.
Now add all the spices and sour cream and continue to mix until the chicken is well coated with the sour cream.
Throw in the mint leaves, stir for another 30 seconds and add water and sugar to this mix.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot rotis or rice.
